The skirt I got from the Maison de Mode pop up boutique; designed by Hassan Pierre made out of vintage Versace Fabric.
While people in most cities look forward to December because of Christmas, people in Miami highly anticipate December because Miami is home to the world’s largest and most principal art fair, Art Basel. Art Basel takes place the first week of December every year, and after all the celebrity sightings, fancy dinners, and art talks are done with, then we focus on Christmas. Art Basel is a pivotal part of our culture, because it brings the world’s wealthiest and most influential people together — the world’s most sought-after demographic.
I had the opportunity to attend the Maison De Mode X PK Shop pop up boutique by Hassan Pierre. If I never believed in love at first sight, I definitely do now because every thing in his pop up shop was to die for. From his personal collection to items from other designers, every piece was unique and screamed my name. While dying inside and yearning for every item in the boutique, I knew I could’t leave without owning one of his pieces. I was lucky enough to get a skirt that he designed, made from vintage Versace fabric. Scored! Can’t wait to wear it.
I also visited the Shop Bazaar boutique and viewed their new collaboration with MCM. The pieces are fun, I can definitely be caught spotting one of those cool clothes. They had great items to buy on site ranging from designers such as Carven to Alexander Wang.
